How to use this water based cleaner
Water based cleaners can definitely be used with modern firearms. It is a myth that you must use solvents and harsh chemicals.
A simple process is to apply with a brush and warm water. Working over a utility sink, bucket or a pan is a great method.
You will notice the dirt and grime releasing, simply rinse it away with warm water or wipe away with a rag or cotton swab. Repeat if needed.
Baked on carbon may require a bit of scraping. This is normal.
After Cleaning-
Just like if you hunted, worked or trained in the rain, anything you get wet, should be properly dried. Compressed air is great. Also placing parts under a fan or in the exhaust of a dehumidifier is also an option. We use all three methods.
Once dry, apply a light coat of oil or grease. Of course we want you using GunFighter Oil.
This product is intended for metal, polymer, rubber and plastic firearm components.
Test carefully on wood or other surfaces in an inconspicuous area.
As with any cleaner do not mix with other products. This cleaner can be diluted with water. It maintains great cleaning properties even diluted 10 times.
