Practitioners should be capable and confident in the safe handling of firearms. This encompasses:

• Minding the Muzzle Direction at All Times – If you can’t control where you are pointing a weapon, should you be training with it?
• Keeping ones finger off the trigger at any time the muzzle is not pointed at something that could be or should be shot! Fingers don’t belong on triggers unless you are in the act of shooting.
• An understanding of your firearms functions.

*No Steel Core, Green Tip, Black Tip or Incendiary Rifle Ammo! Steel core bullets, bimetal jacket bullets (such as those made by Wolf, Tula and Barnaul), solid copper bullets (such as the TSX and GMX) and hardened bullets (such as hard cast) are all unsuitable for steel targets. If a magnet sticks to the bullet tip it’s not allowed. This ammo will damage our TA steel targets and poses a safety issue.
